In February of 2003, Wolf Point, Montana was designated by legislation as the future home of the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame.
The main office is located in Wolf Point with the complex to be built on 29 acres adjacent to Highway 2 on land donated by the Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce.
Marketing, public relation efforts, statewide meetings and trusteeships being developed.

A Board of Trustees (from 12 Districts), is being developed that will represent Montana in the nomination and induction process. They will also help the Board of Directors to attract memberships, assist in fundraising efforts and aid in the promotion of the MCHF&WHC. Currently over 129 Trustees have been approved.
